Tina's Taqueria grew out of Curbside Cantina, a red-and-black taco truck that has worked the Klang Valley since 2014, run by husband-and-wife team Awangku Imran and Noreen. It became a restaurant in Damansara Kim, took the Tina's name in 2024 and moved in 2025 to Level 1 of Block D at The Five, where a covered terrace leads to a long bar.
Tacos are sold individually on soft corn or wheat tortillas. The Baja-style battered fish taco with avocado crema and pico de gallo (RM13) is the signature, alongside Sonora-style beef brisket carne asada with pimento salsa (RM14), chicken al pastor, duck carnitas and tiger prawn (RM16). Tostadas on fried corn tortillas with melted jack cheese come with the same fillings, or with raw tuna or dressed crab. Pez fritos, battered whitebait with garlic jalapeño mayo, is a good one to share, and margaritas are on the drinks list.
It suits a quick, good-value lunch or a casual dinner in Damansara Heights. It closes on Sundays and between lunch and dinner from Monday to Thursday. The taco truck still takes catering bookings.
