We built it because finding properly good Mexican food far from Mexico usually means wading through generic review sites. Here, every restaurant is real and currently open, checked against its own website and recent sources, and described in plain English: what to order, who it suits, what it costs and how to book.
We look for kitchens where Mexican cooking is the heart of the menu, whether that is a Michelin-listed dining room, a cantina with a long mezcal list or a small taqueria pressing its own tortillas. We note the style, regional focus, whether tortillas are made in-house, whether there is a serious tequila and mezcal bar, halal status and any Michelin recognition, so you can filter for exactly what you want.
