Centrico started on Koh Tao in 2022 and now runs branches across Thailand's tourist hubs, with this one in Bophut's Fisherman's Village. The group says it imports premium ingredients and spices from Puebla, Mexico, and markets its whole menu as halal, which is unusual for a Mexican kitchen on the island.
The menu sticks to crowd-pleasers: chicken tacos, beef birria tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, burritos and crispy wraps, with churros to finish. Guests at its sister branches single out the fish tacos and the fresh ingredients, and the bar turns out frozen and spicy margaritas and passion-fruit drinks alongside mocktails.
It suits a relaxed lunch or an early dinner after walking the village, and it opens daily from noon to 10pm. Muslim visitors should note the halal claim is the restaurant's own; no certifying body is named. Other Centrico branches are on Koh Tao (Sairee Beach), in Pai (Walking Street), Phuket Old Town and Khao Lak.
