Caliente sits on the third floor at 6 Knutsford Terrace, the bar strip in Tsim Sha Tsui, with a bar, a lounge corner, a dining room and an outdoor terrace with built-in sofas. It opens at 4pm and stays open until 3am, or 4.30am at weekends.
The menu mixes Mexican and Tex-Mex. Time Out notes that tacos come on homemade soft or hard corn tortillas, in combos of three or five. The taco de cangrejo with crab claw meat and salmon roe and the taco el santo with pulled pork and smoked chipotle aioli are the two to try. Honeycombers points to the pulled pork quesadilla, taco de carnitas, the chopped taco salad and potato skins, and the Mexican fried ice cream is served with raspberry sauce and flaming brandy.
It suits a group night out on Knutsford Terrace or a late meal after the bars. Book by phone or by email at [email protected]; delivery is available through Deliveroo. We found no other branches.
