Taco Local

Taco Local started as a hole-in-the-wall taco shop on the back streets around Panglima Polim and Darmawangsa and built a following for straightforward Mexican street food. It now trades from Wijaya Grand Centre in Kebayoran Baru and remains a casual, child-friendly spot.

The tacos are the reason to come. The al pastor uses grilled pork shoulder, and there are carne asada, chicken and fish tacos, the latter served with guacamole and a spicy sauce. The beef tongue burrito and the carnitas quesadilla with roast pork are other regular orders, and breakfast tacos with scrambled egg and bacon cover the morning. Seasoned fries with sriracha mayo come on the side.

A good choice for a quick, informal lunch or dinner, including with children. It opens daily from 10am, until 10pm on weekdays and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Delivery is available through GoFood.
