About

Cholos started in 2020 as a taco truck on Sukhumvit Soi 12. It was founded by Mexican chef Eduard González and chef Radek Zarebinski, who had both worked in the kitchens of Gaggan and Gaa. In early 2025 the brand opened this larger flagship on Charoen Krung in Bangkok's old town, with the LA-style Mexicana look it is known for.

The Baja fish tacos are the dish Cholos built its name on, and Time Out once called them some of the tastiest fish tacos in Bangkok. Beef birria tacos with consommé for dipping, birria tostadas, chicken tinga burritos and quesadillas round out a short menu of generous Mexican staples, with agua de jamaica among the drinks.

It is a casual spot for a quick lunch or a late taco run, open daily from 11am to 1.30am. Cholos also runs the original truck on Sukhumvit Soi 12 (Asok), a Chinatown branch on Yaowarat Road that opened in April 2026, and an outlet at Again Pattaya Community Mall.
