About

Delia is chef Gaby Espinosa's first restaurant of her own. She was previously head chef at Ms Maria and Mr Singh. It opened in early 2025 on Santiphap Road, just north of Chinatown, in a bright corner space with floor-to-ceiling windows. An open comal behind the bar is where the tortillas are toasted, and the Michelin Guide now lists the restaurant.

The kitchen pairs Mexican technique with Thai market produce, house-fermented ingredients and charcoal cooking. Order the taco de pastor con queso, made with grilled pork jowl, pineapple and charred cheese, and the quesadilla with enoki mushroom tinga and salsa tatemada. The tostada with roasted cauliflower cream is another one to look for, and the pineapple-and-umeshu tamal makes a good dessert.

Delia is a good fit for groups and relaxed dinners, and the bar mixes margaritas, a michelada and mezcal cocktails. It serves dinner nightly and adds lunch at weekends, when the brunch dishes include pan de dulce. Call ahead to book a table.
