Ojo sits on the 76th floor of The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon, and the Michelin Guide calls it Thailand's highest restaurant. The dining room is all pink and gold, with curved banquettes, arched windows and a terrace looking across the city. The menu is overseen by executive chef Francisco 'Paco' Ruano of Alcalde in Guadalajara, and it changes with the seasons.
The May 2026 menu added an upgraded Ojo guacamole with ant eggs, a Gulf-style crab tamal with chilpachole sauce, grilled scallop with chile atole and beef tongue cooked in its own juices. The Michelin inspectors point to the cochinillo and the raw seafood. Larger sharing plates have included a slow-cooked lamb barbacoa and a Phuket lobster cooked Veracruz-style.
Ojo is a special-occasion and date-night choice, and a window or terrace table makes the most of the view. Smart casual dress is required, and there is a security check on the way in. It is open daily for lunch and dinner. Book through TableCheck; groups of eight or more should contact the restaurant directly.
