Rodeo opened on Sukhumvit Soi 20 in late 2024 and calls its cooking Mex-Tex, putting the Mexican side first. It sits between a restaurant and a nightlife spot: a dark, candle-lit room with Western-style murals, beers on tap, and kitchen hours that run from 4pm until midnight every day.
The Mex part of the menu covers tacos and other Mexican plates for sharing over drinks. If you would rather go Texan, the Tex section has a well-regarded Buffalo chicken burger. BK Magazine has been candid that it is not the most traditional Mexican kitchen in town, but rates the food and the atmosphere.
It suits after-work drinks, groups and a late bite in the Phrom Phong–Asok area rather than a quiet, purist taco crawl. It opens only in the evening, so plan for dinner rather than lunch. When it opened, BK Magazine noted that the kitchen was led by a chef from Belfast, and it has kept a place on the magazine's annual list of Bangkok Mexican restaurants since.
