About

The Missing Burro is a Thonglor favourite run by Mexicans: three shipping containers and a garden on a quiet lane off Thonglor Soi 7, less than 100 metres from the main road. Its own line is no fusion and no Tex-Mex, just the food of Mexican streets and markets, and BK Magazine has listed it among Bangkok's Mexican spots in both 2025 and 2026.

Tacos come by the order: lamb barbacoa, al pastor, suadero, carnitas, alambre and choriqueso, plus panuchos de cochinita for a taste of Yucatán. Regulars rate the birria, and specialities include flautas, enchiladas and carne asada. The bar stocks a serious range of tequilas and mezcals, and staff will show you how to drink them straight.

The outdoor garden makes it good for groups, families and dog owners, as easy for a party as a slow lunch. Limited parking is available; BTS Thong Lo is about a ten-minute walk.
