Family-Friendly lists Mexican restaurants that work well with children: relaxed rooms, menus that suit a range of ages and, in at least one case, a dedicated kids' menu. Most are casual and reasonably priced.

In Singapore, Super Loco Robertson Quay is a riverside cantina known for weekend brunch and sharing plates, and Sanchos Taqueria in Paragon is halal-certified. Taco Local in Jakarta serves breakfast tacos from 10am. In Bali, Holy Guacamole in Legian has big portions and a kids' menu, Taqisa in Sanur cooks from generations-old family recipes, and La Luz in Penestanan holds film nights. La Monita Taqueria on Ploenchit, Bangkok, has been open since 2009. In Phuket, Mamasita Mexican in Bang Tao has been family-run since 2016, and Thyme Out in Sunway, Kuala Lumpur, keeps prices low.

Go early in the evening if you have young children, as several of these places get busier later on. Check spice levels when ordering, as salsas vary.
