This section groups restaurants by the kind of outing they suit rather than by price or location. It currently has two types: family-friendly restaurants that work well with children, and restaurant-and-bar venues where drinks are as much of a draw as the food.

Family-Friendly places include Super Loco Robertson Quay in Singapore, Holy Guacamole in Legian, which has a kids' menu, and Taqisa, a family-run taco shop in Sanur. Restaurant & Bar covers venues with a proper bar programme, such as Lucha Loco and its mezcal list, El Santo on Sukhumvit 29 with more than 65 tequilas and mezcals, and Uncle Miguel on Peel Street in Hong Kong.

A restaurant can sit in both types or in neither; Super Loco Robertson Quay, for instance, is listed only as family-friendly. Use these pages together with the city and price sections to narrow your search, and check each listing's opening hours and booking details before you go.
